On a hot summer night, Chief Inspector Erika Foster is called to the scene of a crime. The victim was found suffocated in bed. She has her wrists bound and her eyes seem to want to pop out of their sockets through the clear plastic bag that covers her head and has suffocated him. A few days later, another victim is discovered in exactly the same circumstances. As Erika and her team intensify their investigation, they come across an intelligent and calculating serial killer - who knows all about his victims and stalks them before choosing the right moment to strike.
All the victims are single, with a very private life and a past shrouded in secrecy. However, they may not be the only people being watched...
