Walk from Afife to Cabanas Convent

We are going to walk towards the side of the hill where the ruins of the settlement are, and on the way we have other surprises. We will pass rivers and streams of crystal-clear water, we will immerse ourselves in the forest that covers us with mimosas in flower and invades our sense of smell with a wonderful perfume. From the top of the chapel we can see the ocean and on the way down we go towards the convent of cabins where the poet Pedro Homem de Melo once lived and left a beautiful legacy there. In the same place, there is a centenary magnolia over the bridge where the waters of the afife river flow, which has about thirty water mills along its course. As for the Cliff of Saudade, it is a beautiful corner of love and disaffection.
