Walk from the geodesic mark to the waterfall

Have you ever imagined yourself on top of a mountain next to a geodesic landmark?

Andstanding next to a deep waterfall in the bowels of the mountains?

Along the way you will have the opportunity to learn more about the natural heritage of the mountain during the workshops of:

- Serra d'Arga Natural Heritage

- Orienteering techniques

We will also stop for tea.

Starting point: Arga de Cima, Serra d'Arga.

Material: walking shoes, comfortable clothes, hat, sunscreen, water, waterproof (in case of rain).

Orienteering Techniques



Entering a mountain, for a hike, a trail, an overnight stay, a long expedition, always has the surprise factor in the middle. We never know what surprises we will encounter, what challenges we will face, but we know a way to be prepared.

Knowing mountain orientation is one of the greatest tricks, with topographic maps, compasses, coordinate squares, GPS everything is possible and often it is essential to help someone.

Serra d'Arga Natural Heritage

Walking in Serra d'Arga is walking in a special place on the globe. Imagine we were living a few centuries ago, our mountain was inhabited by monks, simple and wise people who lived among the various peaks.

The Guides

Daniela Amorim is an Environmental Engineer, a Girl Scout for over 20 years and a mountaineering practitioner. She loves nature and knows all the necessary techniques to develop a mountain activity. She will be the guide of the mountain techniques workshops and the guide of the whole trail. She will be joined by a guest to talk about the natural heritage of Serra d'Arga. Believing that nature is our true home, she will convey to you everything that the path allows. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about nature photography with her, take your camera.

Ângela Fernandes, a certified walking guide, will be the group guide for this route. Completely passionate about nature, especially flora, she brings with her all the knowledge of botany and medicinal plants that add value to our days.

She does not dispense a good walk, and a good adventure, as such, it is a natural enthusiasm to hear her speak during these group moments.
